The rear wheel wells of my Bronco have been modified to accommodate the lift and suspension upgrades. I was wanting to put in the Fold and Tumble rear bench seat, but I’m worried it won’t fit. Do you have any suggestions on what would fit best with this kind of set up?

    • Tom's Bronco Parts says:

If your wheel wells have been modified so that there is something protruding in toward the middle of the cab further than the vertical side of the rear wheel well then the fold and tumble seat will not fit. It is a perfect fit on factory applications, so any modification that tightens the space between the rear wheel wells will make it so that the fold & tumble seat will not fit in your Bronco. If you got us a width measurement where you plan to install the rear seat, we can check to see if there is an option that we have available to accomodate your request. Thank you.

1968 Bronco — I am tall & would like to install replacement seat a little bit back from the factory holes. Is this a problem and/or is there something I can do to make it work?

    • Tom's Bronco Parts says:

Hi Charles. Yes, you can mount the seat further back by creating your own mounting holes. The big thing is to ensure that you properly reinforce the new mounts so that the seat is secure in the case of an accident. Relocating the mounting holes tends to be the best option we have seen for taller individuals. We have two Bronco owners that work here that are about 6′ 3″ each and both had to do this.
