Description
The new process 435 is an excellent transmission for both a daily driver and the off road inthusiest. The transmission has a gear ratio of 1st 6.69:1, 2nd 3.34:1, 3rd 1.66:1 and 4th 1:1. The uniqe advantage of this transmission conversion is the transfer case stays in the stock location so there is no drive line modifications. This adapter fits New proces 435 transmissions with a Trapezoid style bolt pattern on the rear of the case. Comonly this transmission has rear shaft lenght of 9 from the back of the case to the end of the aplines and will have to be replaced with a shorter rear shaft #5040. This new shaft will have a stick out lenght of 5 3/4. We have a tunnel cover #5075 and a boot #5070 also available.
